Who Is Candous Creates?
Learning firsthand in a Deaf household, Charlotte-based artist Candous Creates realized that majority of language is mainly about expression. As she would say “Art is an unspoken language”. Originally a painter, Candous has blended her skills with tattooing full time. Within her evolution she’s done live event paintings, murals, and hosted several sip & paint classes. Paying homage to the Deaf community has allowed her to extend the range of her talent even further. Painting with Sign Language, “Sign and Paint”. Candous co-hosts this event by creating accessibility for the Deaf community. Challenging the communication barriers between the hearing and deaf world. Bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions.
